Romantic retreat just for two
Nant Awen is the ideal retreat for two, where you can spend the days relaxing alongside the mountain stream that flows right outside your front door or walking the local nature trails that open out to stunning panoramic views of the welsh countryside. Unwind by spending the evening's cwtched in front of your wood burner, or gazing up at the stars from your secluded, private hot tub.
Both Y Stabl and Y Capel have their own seperate, private gardens and hot tubs.
Each has a fully equipped kitchen, living area with TV/ROKU Box and wifi and a wood burning stove, shower room and king size bedroom (with bedlinen provided).
Check in is between 4pm and 6pm
Departure is 9.30am

Please note that although we are not a pet friendly site we ourselves own a dog, and so if you are nervous of dogs or have severe allergies to them we suggest this may not be the retreat for you.
This long building next to the farmhouse was the stable for the original farm. In this part of Wales horses were an invaluable commodity, the Welsh Cob playing its own essential part in Siwan's family history as millers and farmers in the village.
Now, y Stabl is a smart and contemporary renovation with the original old beams juxtaposed against new glass brick making this an unusual space well suited for a relaxing getaway with your loved one
Built in the 1860s as a preaching station for the farmsteads higher up the valley, this building was known and served as a school room until the late 1980ies when it was closed.
It's an open and airy space with its own freestanding, handmade copper bath all the way from Marrakech. An atmospheric and stylish place to spend your short break.
