Making the most of your stay (hot tub)

Updated: Aug 31, 2020

You're booked in and your stay is circled on the calendar in red pen and surrounded by hearts, other than read through my immaculate directions, what else is there that you need to remember before your arrival?

Warm hat.

This sounds like an odd one to start, but trust me, it makes total sense once you've used it.

As much as I loathe to admit it, Wales, is not always particularly welcoming when it comes to the weather, and we do get our fair share of rain (its what keeps that grass of home so green though, so we don't complain)

When relaxing in the hot tub a warm hat is going to stop your head from getting too chilly if the weather isn't as clear as it could be, and so your hot tub experience won't get dampened (geddit?) by a little drizzle.

Beach Towel.

Don't worry, we supply towels! But we don't provide you with an "outdoor" towel for the hot tub. Don't forget to pack your own so you are nice and cwtchy after a dip in the tub.

Milk.

There is a little welcome package awaiting you upon arrival: some tea and coffee and welshcakes, but I don't provide milk. This is purely because I don't want to wade into the quagmire of what milk people drink. Blue top, red top, green top, almond, soy... it's a nightmare and I won't play that game. No siree.

A good book.

Woodburner, cozy cottage moment

Although there is plenty to do here in Mid Wales, I have to admit that our cosy cottages are too lovely to leave! So why not bring that book you've been meaning to read, chill out on the rivderside seating or snuggle up in front of the woodburner and relax.

Phone Charger.

YOU'RE WELCOME!

The thing I forget the most frequently and need the most often, don't forget to bring your charger. Especially as you're going to run that battery right down taking candid snapshots of your picture perfect stay!
