TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Booking - any booking made by telephone or email will be provisionally held for 24 hours until the receipt of a completed booking form and payment of deposit. We recommend that Cancellation Insurance is taken for your stay, particularly in winter months in case you are unable to travel due to adverse weather conditions.
Deposit - a deposit of 50% of the total booking will be required when submitting the completed booking form. If booking within 6 weeks of the stay then full payment is required. Please note that the deposit is non refundable in the event of a cancellation. You can request for us to try to re-let the dates which will incur a £50 Admin fee, and if we successfully re-let your booking, you will receive your amount paid minus the Admin fee. Once a deposit has been made you agree to all terms included. The name provided through the booking will be solely responsible for any breakages or damages caused during your stay. Bookings will not be taken for groups under the age of 21 years.
Remainder of balance - The balance of hire will be due for payment four (4) weeks before the holiday commencement date. We reserve the right to cancel a holiday where full payment has not been received one week after balance due date.
Cancellation - any cancellation made by the client for whatever the reason must be in writing. Once the booking has been confirmed, the deposit becomes non-refundable. Cancellations should be notified immediately. If full payment has been made and we can re-let the dates, you will receive your amount we are able to re-let it for (less Admin fee). If the house is not re-let, you will not receive the amount previously paid. Nant Awen Romantic Getaways strongly recommends the client takes out insurance against cancellation.
Cleaning & Breakages Bond - Nant Awen has the right to charge £100 breakages and cleaning deposit on every booking. This deposit must be paid with the balance payment. It will be returned in full within 3-5 days of departure once Nant Awen are satisfied that no breakages have occurred (beyond small incidental items such as a broken glass) and also that the house has been left in the same state as it was found on arrival.
Currency - All prices and all payments must be GB Pounds Sterling ONLY
Arrival/Departure times - arrival between 4-6 pm and departure at 9.30 am. Late arrival after 6 pm will incur a charge of £25 unless prior arrangements have been made with Siwan.
Services - rental charges include bed linen for use during your stay. Bed will be made up prior to your arrival and for bookings of more than one week, linen will be changed at the end of each week. Electricity (heating) and water are included within the rental charge.
Care of the property - the client shall take all reasonable and proper care of the property and its furniture, pictures, fixtures and fittings and effects in or on the property, and leave them in the same state of repair, and in the same clean and tidy condition at the end of the rental period as found at the beginning. We provide cleaning equipment for this purpose. Nant Awen Romantic Getaways reserve the right to issue an additional charge (to the person who made the booking) of up to £50 for a house left in a poor state on departure. An invoice will be issued and payment required within 7 working days.
Fixtures and Fittings - all fixtures and fittings must be used solely for their intended purpose. Nant Awen request that you do not take into the house any portable heaters, lighting equipment or any items that may cause danger to the apartment, it's equipment or it's occupants. Any bulky items such as bicycles are not to be taken into the house. No furniture, bedding, plates or cutlery are to be moved from or between the apartments.
Breakages, damage or missing items - the client is legally bound to reimburse Nant Awen Romantic Getaways for breakages, damage, missing items or excessive cleaning caused by the party during the period of rental.
Visitors - only the number of persons notified on the booking form are entitled to occupy the accommodation allocated during any time of their stay. Due to the quiet nature of Nant Awen, no day or over night visitors are permitted on site at any time. The maximum number of persons allowed at the property is clearly stated as two (2) and must not be exceeded at any time in accordance with our Insurance providers. Owners reserve the right to terminate the hire without notice and without refund in case of breach of this condition.
Caring for your safety - It is the client's responsibility to inspect the property and grounds immediately on arrival and note any possible hazards. Check the layout of your holiday property so that in an emergency you can get out quickly and easily. There will be no running, jumping, racing, skipping etc within the property, or to cause a nuisance or annoyance to any other occupied neighbouring properties eg. music playing outside, shouting etc
The client should pay particular attention to the working farm adjacent to the property and ensure that they, or their guests do not trespass onto the farm without the prior permission of Siwan or Jake.
The Countryside - Please remember that the countryside activity (farming etc) and animals can be noisy, unpredictable and smelly at times.
Smoking - Nant Awen Romantic Getaways operates a No Smoking policy within its accommodation, decking and hot tubs.
Parking - parking of vehicles must be in the carpark space allocated to your accommodation and must not obstruct the roadway. Vehicles may park temporarily outside the accommodation for loading or unloading of luggage before being returned to the car park. Cars must not be left outside the accommodation for extended periods of time.
Your vehicles, their accessories and contents are left entirely at your own risk. Nant Awen will not be responsible for any loss or damage from or to any vehicle. Repairs to vehicles (except emergency repairs) must not be carried out on site.
Lost property - a minimum charge of £10 is made for the return of lost property after your departure. Receipt of a stamped envelope first is required if an item is to be returned. Items of lost property can only be held for a maximum of one month after which time they are donated to charity. We can not be held responsible for items reported lost which can not be found. Property is at all times the responsibility of the owner.
Pets are not allowed in any property of Nant Awen Romantic Getaways
Right of entry - we will not normally enter a house once let without your agreement, however employees of Nant Awen Romantic Getaways shall be allowed the right of entry to property at all reasonable times for purposes of inspection, or to carry out any necessary repairs or maintenance.
Hot Tubs - the hot tubs are unsupervised and are therefore used entirely at your own risk. We maintain our hot tubs on a daily basis. In the event of inappropriate use (in our opinion) resulting in chemical imbalances/poor water quality and the need to drain and refill the hot tub, a charge of £50 will be made to the person who made the booking. Our hot tub safety document can be found here and is available in each of our houses. Please be aware that for health and safety regulations we drain our hot tubs every two weeks, or when we feel the water quality has been compromised; this could result in the hot tub being out of use for one day of your stay.
Privacy - protecting your privacy is important to us and we will strive to keep your personal information confidential. We do not give any information to third parties. If required by law or legal process to disclose your personal information we will do only in accordance with the law.
Site rules - all occupiers of Nant Awen Romantic Getaways are expected to abide by the Site Rules.
Complaints - Every effort has been made to ensure that you have an enjoyable and memorable holiday. Should there be any cause for complaint during the occupation of the property, it must be notified promptly to Siwan and in the case of a serious problem confirmed in writing.
Terms and Conditions - Nant Awen Romantic Getaways reserve the right to change or amend these terms and conditions at any time. We also reserve the right to terminate the agreement/booking without refund of the balance payment.
Commitment to Quality - As an established family run business, Siwan, Jake and their family work hard to provide you with quality accommodation, and to assist you with your holiday plans once you have arrived. Every reasonable effort has been made to ensure that the descriptions/photographs are accurate and all statements by the Owners are made in the honest belief that they are accurate at the time. However, all distances are approximate and facilities may be altered or withdrawn for reasons outside the control of the owner for which we cannot accept responsibility.
Force Majeure - Nant Awen Romantic Getaways cannot accept responsibility or pay compensation where the performance of our contract with you is prevented or affected by reason of circumstances which amount to force majeure. These circumstances include any event which we could not, even with due care, foresee or avoid. Such circumstances include the destruction or damage of your accommodation (which cannot reasonably be remedied to a satisfactory standard before the start of your holiday) through fire, flood, explosion, storm or other weather damage, break in, criminal damage, riots or civil strife, natural or nuclear disaster, war or threat of war, actual or threatened terrorist activity and all similar situations beyond our control.
